A fatal incident occurred when a Tesla Cybertruck ignited and exploded outside the Trump International Hotel in Las Vegas early Wednesday morning, resulting in the death of one individual, according to authorities. The explosion also injured seven others who were in the vicinity, and they were taken to a nearby hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. Las Vegas Metropolitan Police and Clark County Fire Department officials briefed reporters at a press conference, stating that the body found within the vehicle has yet to be recovered due to the accident’s severity.

The explosion took place in the hotel’s valet area and was reported at approximately 8:40 a.m. Details regarding the cause of the explosion remain sparse.



Jeremy Schwartz, the acting FBI Special Agent in Charge of the Las Vegas office, stated during the press conference, “We don’t have a lot of answers,” indicating that the investigation is ongoing. Eric Trump, the president-elect’s son and executive vice president of the Trump Organization, acknowledged the incident online, commending the rapid response and professionalism of law enforcement and emergency services. The Trump International Hotel is prominently located off the iconic Las Vegas Strip, directly across from the Fashion Show Mall.
