Fall is here y'all! Venture out this weekend for a host of fall festivals, outdoor fun and family bonding. Celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month the right way at the Fiesta on the Square event in Summerville and taste, dance and experience a bit of Hispanic culture. Or head out to Boone Hall Plantation as they kick off fall events at the pumpkin patch with everything from sprawling corn mazes to barnyard fun.

Then, visit the 39th annual Family Festival put on by St. Theresa the Little Flower Church and let the little ones tire themselves with a host of fun activities. Don't miss your chance to see the fourth annual Mountain Apple Festival at Jedburg Junction, embracing that autumn flair, or check out the Kids Run put on by the Cooper River Bridge Run organization and open to all ages.



FRIDAY (SEPT. 27) Fiesta on the Square will take place on Friday, Sept. 27, and a "Cultural Esplanade" will have an array of informative booths showcasing local organizations and Latin-owned businesses.

Bring the family out for a special Fiesta on the Square event in honor of Hispanic Heritage Month that will be hosted at Hutchinson Square Park, 102 S. Main St., Summerville from 6 to 9 p.

This Lowcountry gathering of cultures brings out a series of food trucks featuring the best Hispanic cuisine in Charleston. The program also includes musicians from Chamber Music Charleston and DJ Luigi Bravo of Latin Grooves performing some stellar samba, tango and more music to fuel your ea.
