Laura Fox has revealed an awkward blunder during filming of Ireland’s Fittest Family. The Galway native returned for her second season presenting the RTÉ family show, and has been sharing snippets and behind the scenes in recent weeks. On Sunday’s show, Laura donned a ‘marmite’ two-tone green set, which included flared jeans and a denim jacket.
Laura revealed the outfit, which got mixed reviews from fans, came from Pretty Little Thing . She added that she had the jacket altered to make it cropped. While some people weren’t a fan of the fit, many loved it and were begging Laura to share the details, with the broadcaster revealing it had sold out.
‘If it’s any consolation, I tripped on the flares and absolutely buckled myself that morning,’ she revealed, ‘It must have looked bad because nobody laughed for AGES.’ Laura went on to pay tribute to stylist Roxanne Parker and make-up artist Roseanne Healy. ’ A third commented: ‘This outfit!!!! I need for St Patrick’s day!!!’ As well as landing the Ireland’s Fittest Family gig last year, Laura made the move to weekday radio as she replaced Jennifer Zamparelli on her slot on 2FM. On top of that, Laura spent the start of her year learning the art of dance alongside professional dancer Den.
