Staff discovered the body of Sabina Rosas, 33, inside a guest room at the Shou Sugi Ban House in Water Mill on Monday afternoon. Suffolk County police has called the death suspicious and said Rosas was a victim of violence. Rosas, who is known under another surname as Sabina Khorramdel, was arrested in Miami last year for battery and is seen with a black eye on her mugshots.
Officials said the death appeared to be an isolated incident and there is no threat to the public. An autopsy is expected to determine how the woman was killed. In a statement, Rosas' heartbroken family members shared.
