MUMBAI: Passengers booked on IndiGo flights on Saturday faced a major inconvenience due to a network-wide system outage that resulted in long queues at the check-in counters. The breakdown affected various services provided by the airline, including their website, which disabled essential features such as web check-ins and ticket booking . As a result, IndiGo departures experienced significant delays across its entire network.

At the Mumbai airport , for example, IndiGo's afternoon flights to various destinations like Ranchi, Madurai , Srinagar, Guwahati, and Delhi were delayed by an average of 45 minutes. In response to the situation, IndiGo released a media statement acknowledging the temporary system slowdown affecting their network, website, and booking system. The airline stated that customers may face increased wait times, including slower check-ins and longer queues at the airport.



They assured passengers that their airport team is fully dedicated to assisting everyone and ensuring a smooth journey despite the challenges posed by the system outage. IndiGo also posted the statement on their social media handle on X at 1.44 pm to keep their customers informed about the ongoing situation.

The airline emphasised that they are working diligently to restore stability and normalcy as quickly as possible. They expressed their regret for the inconvenience caused and appreciated the understanding and patience of their customers during this challenging time. The system outage not.
