Saturday, October 5, 2024 MSC Cruises is strengthening its commitment to the UK and Ireland markets by expanding its sales and trade support teams, introducing three new trade support hires, and promoting three members within the sales team. In the UK, Charlotte Petrides has joined the team as Senior Trade Support Executive, alongside Zoe White and Jessica Pearson, both taking on the role of Trade Support Executives. These new recruits will report to Claire Smith, Head of Trade Support and Training.

After nine years with MSC Cruises, Danielle Weller has been elevated to the role of Senior Regional Sales Manager (South). She will continue collaborating with the sales team to foster relationships with trade partners and reinforce MSC Cruises’ status as the top international cruise brand in the UK. In Ireland, with Explora Journeys gaining popularity in the luxury cruise sector, Suzanne Rowe will manage the luxury line while continuing her role as Head of Sales for MSC Cruises.



Additionally, Alana Byrne has been promoted to Senior Account Manager for MSC Cruises in Ireland, reporting to Suzanne Rowe. This news comes after a record-breaking year for MSC Cruises in Ireland, marking its best sales year to date. Steve Williams, Director of Sales for MSC Cruises, UK & Ireland, commented : “We have seen the most successful year of sales ever for MSC Cruises in both the UK and Ireland and we know that this is largely due to the level of support we receive from our valued trade part.
