Recording artiste Mr Lexx is heating up the music scene with his latest track, ' One Life' , produced by DJ Blast from Martinique. The song is featured on the 'Disinterest' rhythm, a vibrant collaboration of artistes from across the Caribbean blending their unique sounds and styles. "My song is about just having a good time as usual.
You know I'm a person who is always ready for a good time," Mr Lexx said, emphasising the feel-good vibe of the track. Known for classics such as Cook , Full Hundred , Halla Halla , and Ring Mi Cellie , it's no surprise that One Life has been gaining traction since its release, with listeners worldwide vibing to it. "My hope for this song is simply for it to 'buss'," he added, expressing his desire for the track's success.
The Disinterest rhythm project, which took about a year to complete, features four tracks in total, including contributions from G Whizz, Natwali, and Era Don. "This project is a collective effort that involves musicians from all over the Caribbean. People can definitely expect more music from us, and should follow the movement and stay tuned," DJ Blast said, eager for fans to embrace the collaboration.
Although One Life marks their first artiste-producer partnership, Mr Lexx and DJ Blast had previously worked together behind the scenes and plan to continue collaborating.
