The 13th edition of the Mr & Miss Nigeria International pageant is set to be held in Uyo, the Akwa Ibom State capital, from October 8 to 20, 2024. The CEO of the pageant, Brendan Nsikak; production coordinator, Sunday Okereke, and Bob Cal, noted that the MMNI had been a beacon of excellence in the beauty pageant industry for 12 editions, promoting cultural diversity, unity, and empowerment. Nsikak said, “Over the years, MMNI has achieved immense success, with winners representing Nigeria internationally and making us proud.

The pageant has also expanded its scope, partnering with relevant MDAs in Akwa Ibom to ensure a hitch-free event. The pageant will feature contestants from across Nigeria, competing in various categories, including beauty, brains, and brawn.



“As part of our pledge to create more avenues and opportunities for all in the Nigerian creative industry to maximise their potential, we are partnering with FETV New York to bring a fashion entertainment reality TV show to Uyo.” She added that the event aims to expand the creative industry in Akwa Ibom State and grow Nigeria’s stake in global pageantry, modelling and fashion industry while promoting inclusivity and transparency..
