Sarajayne Lowe was 17 stone and prediabetic. Now, she's shed 4.5 stone – and is helping others on their weight loss journey.

Sarajayne, 53, of Bromley Cross , said: “I'd spent my entire adult life yo-yo dieting like a lot of women do. “You put weight on, you lose it again.” Four years ago, she was 17 stone.



She joined Farnworth’s Slimming World group and started experiencing the benefits. She lost three stone. Sarajayne said: “W hen coronavirus hit, I put all the weight back on.

“I had sold the café I owned right before the lockdown, Scrummy Cafe in Bradley Fold. My health was at risk. I was burnt out.

“My doctor told me I had prediabetes, bad asthma and blood pressure that was through the roof. “With two young daughters at home, I thought, ‘I can't get away with this much longer.’ “Still, I played about with the diet and didn't really lose anything in those six months.

I remember seeing this quote, ‘Nothing changes if nothing changes.’ “And nothing had. “I decided to take a different approach.

It was my year of health. “I began losing weight, exercising and sorting my mental wellbeing out as well.” In that time, she lost 4.

5 stone. Now, she has managed to stay consistent and keep it off as a newly singl.
