Diners and staff have been evacuated after a Melbourne restaurant caught fire. The Ancient Memories Restaurant on Lygon St in Brunswick went up in flames about midnight on Thursday. More than a dozen staff members and diners were evacuated following the blaze, according to 7NEWS.

A Victoria Ambulance spokesperson confirmed a man in his 30s was taken to the Royal Melbourne Hospital in a stable condition. Victoria Police said the fire has been deemed as non-suspicious. More to come.
