A total of 19,359 students are registered to sit for the Fiji Year 8 Examination this week. This is the first external examination scheduled for this school term. The Ministry of Education has wished all the Year 8 students the best of luck in their exams.
Education’s Acting Minister, Alitia Bainivalu with her Assistant Minister, Iliesa Vanawalu conveyed their best wishes to all the Year 8 students for their exams. “I extend my heartfelt best wishes to each one of you as you prepare for your external examination. This examination will not only be a medium to test your knowledge and skills but will also be a testament of your hard work, commitment and perseverance,” Ms Bainivalu said.
“Exam preparation can be a combination of emotions, excitement, and anticipation, but I wish to remind all Year 8 students to have faith in what you have studied and remember that this examination is just a part of your educational journey. “You will encounter numerous challenges on your path to success and must remain steadfast with your dedication and effort towards your studies.” She requested that all parents, guardians and teachers provide the necessary support to help students stay focused during this examination period.
Mr Vanawalu in his message urged students to continue to trust their abilities and to believe in themselves. “Stay calm and remain confident. I urge all the Year 8 students to be resilient and determined during the examination,” he said.
