The public is invited to attend the reception, which is set for 6 to 8 p.m., according to a museum news release.

Made up of art created by museum members, the exhibit celebrates their talent and allows them a platform for the presentation of their art to the wider community, according to the release. Through the partnership with Commonwealth Senior Living, the exhibit is housed in the Living Library to bring fine art to both the public and commonwealth’s residents. Over 20 assorted artworks will be displayed in this special exhibition.



Artists featured to date include Pamela Goff, Linda Hinson, Sue Hossack, Ruth Lefko, Sam Linkous, Judy Niehaus, Robi Sallee, Linda Smith, Donald Sunshine, Joanna Sunshine, and Mary Ratliff, with more to come, according to the release. The artwork displayed in this exhibit provides a new location for the display of local community creative culture and also contributes to an important cause. A 25% commission will be taken from all artwork sold and will be donated to the Alzheimer’s Association at the request of Commonwealth Senior Living staff.

This art exhibit will run from Oct. 30 to Feb. 1.
