TOMMY Fury insists ex Molly-Mae Hague couldn't have picked a better man to father a child with. The couple split in August after five years together amid reports Tommy cheated, but they have cordially co-parented daughter Bambi since. Though Tommy, 25, has come under fire in the past for being absent in boxing camps and leaving Molly-Mae, 25, to look after Bambi, one, alone, he says he gives parenting his all.
He told the Mail : "We took the bull by the horns. I can honestly say, for two young parents, we are two great parents. I couldn't have picked a better mother for Bambi.
"And I know Molly would say the same. She couldn't have picked a better father for Bambi. We father and mother that baby like an egg in a shell .
"There is nothing more important. Being a father is the best thing I've ever done in my life. Ever.
Having Bambi has changed my whole life." During his tell-all interview to promote his upcoming autobiography, Tommy denied cheating on Molly-Mae and vowed to win her back after their split in August. Though he no longer lives with her in the £4m Cheshire mansion they used to share, Tommy still wears a promise ring from their relationship.
He says he knows what he needs to do to make things right and is confident Molly will eventually take him back. The burly boxer said it was love at first sight when he saw Molly in the Love Island villa five years ago, describing her as the "woman of my dreams". Little seems to have changed, despite their troubled circumstance.
