defended after he sparked outrage for his antics during just weeks before the couple announced their split. The couple, who met on reality dating show and share a daughter Bambi together, after they got engaged last summer. Molly-Mae took to Instagram on Wednesday to break the news to their devoted fans.

But just weeks prior, the 25-year-old defended Fury on social media after the boxer received flak during England’s 6-3 victory over Fury’s World XI team during the Soccer Aid game in June. The younger brother of Tyson Fury was playing under and alongside legends Eden Hazard and Petr Cech in the star-studded game at Stamford Bridge. However, it became apparent early on that Fury’s ability in the ring hasn’t carried onto the football pitch.

Fury was set to take a throw-in with the ball behind his head in the correct way before he inexplicably rolled the ball underarm onto the pitch – giving away a foul throw. His technique brought cheers from the crowd and hilarious reactions from the former pros from the respective teams on the pitch and in the dugout. Jill Scott and Patrice Evra could be seen sharing a joke in the aftermath, while Pochettino couldn’t contain his laughter on the bench.

Fury left fans on social media baffled that he seemingly didn’t know how to take a throw-in despite appearing in the charity game the year before. "Tommy Fury has just actually done an underarm throw-in. Absolutely mad that he doesn't know the laws of football,” one comment on social media said.

While viewers teased Fury, Molly-Mae came to his defence on social media. The influencer posted two pictures of Fury during his throw-in motion, adding the caption: “Iconic x” Fury put his own message regarding his split from his fiancee and the mother of their child on social media, he wrote: "I am heartbroken to share that Molly & I have decided to end our relationship. "The past 5 years have led to us having our beautiful baby girl, Bambi & I will be forever thankful to Molly for make me a dad.

Bambi is our priority. Please respect our privacy, and our families privacy, as we navigate our way through this difficult time.".
