The other 20pc of the time I have doubts. I fantasise about going travelling and being single and not having any responsibilities. I’m in my early thirties and I know I should be thinking of settling down but the idea of being with the same person forever can be a little scary to me.



I thought I could just coast along and see what happens but now I think he’s about to propose. I could see he had been looking at rings when he showed me something on his phone the other day and he’s been talking a lot about our future together. A part of me is excited but there’s another part that feels dread, and I don’t think I can ignore that.
