The hurricane has at the time of reporting resulted in an estimate of 190 deaths , with hundreds others missing.
Lenderman’s upcoming ‘Manning Fireworks’ tour in the US was due to kick off in Georgia today (October 3), before moving to Nashville on October 5. As a result of the damages and tragedies caused by the hurricane – especially in North Carolina, where the musicians’s band and their families are based, the musician has decided to postpone tour dates in the affected cities. He wrote on Instagram: “Due to the ongoing natural disaster and humanitarian crisis in Western North Carolina as a result of Hurricane Helene, where most of MJ Lenderman’s band and their families are based, we have no choice but to postpone the first few dates of the upcoming Manning Fireworks tour.
