A FRIEND of the missing woman, who was last seen on Tuesday, has issued a heartfelt appeal for the search for Jessica Rapsys to continue. Jessica Rapsys, 27, was traveling from Florida to South Carolina to visit her aunt and is believed to have gotten lost along the way. Graysen Gall, Jessica's friend, last saw her on Friday night and described Jessica as the life of the party, according to a CBS affiliate WRDW/WAGT .
"Jessica is a beautiful person, she is inside and out the most genuine human being I've ever met," Gall said. "When I found out, my stomach flipped. I was sick to my stomach.
" "Jessica is worth it, she is worth the search," she said. Read more on Jessica Rapsys "I don't think I'm going to give up until we find her," Gall added. Jessica was last seen in Allendale, South Carolina on Tuesday evening, according to ABC affiliate KABC-TV .
She was last spotted around 8 pm on August 13. Jessica's aunt, Amy, told The U.S.
Sun that the family last heard from her around 8-8:30 pm that night. Most read in The US Sun Police discovered her car with the keys, shoes, and cell phone still inside at around 9:15 pm on the same day. Authorities reported that the car was stuck on railroad tracks and was still warm when it was found.
It had, however, been sitting there for a while, the Allendale County Sheriff James Freeman said. The search for Jessica so far has involved three helicopters and a team of dogs . Concerned members of the public have taken to social media to share their well wishes with Jessica's family and friends.
"Beautiful young lady, my prayers [are] for a safe return," one person wrote on Facebook . "Lifting up prayers and shared in South Carolina," another said. People have tried to spread the word about Jessica on Facebook in the hope it will help the search mission.
