Miranda Lambert is wrangling another win at the 2024 People's Choice Country Awards . As the country music star accepted the Country Icon Award Sept. 26 in Nashville, Tenn.

, she made sure to keep it real as she highlighted some of those that have helped support her throughtout her over 20-year career. "T he fact that I get this award tonight is just blowing my mind," Miranda said on stage. "It’s a lot of years, tears, beers and Tito’s, if I’m being honest.



" After the relatable comment, the "Kerosene" singer—who sported an all-black, fringe-filled leather dress and black cowboy hat—went on to thank her fans for her success. " I feel like I've been able to make so many great memories in my life and career because of fans," Miranda continued. "Y’all allow me to keep creating all these years.

Thank you so much to the most loyal fans in the world. " The "Mama's Broken Heart" singer was also joined on the red carpet earlier in the night by her husband of five years Brendan McLoughlin , whom she's grateful to have cheering her on . "Brendan's the best," she told E! News at the 2024 MTV VMAs earlier this month.

"He's down for anything, super happy and supportive, in the best way. Let's me do my thing, but is right there beside me and it's really awesome." And it's been especially comforting for Miranda, who has worked so hard to stay true to herself as she rose to fame in the early aughts.

"There was a risk of people trying to dress me in a way that I didn't want to dress.
