MIRANDA Lambert has gushed over her husband Brendan after shutting down rumors they're headed for divorce. The country singer appeared on Jelly Roll 's wife Bunnie Xo's podcast, Dumb Blonde, where she revealed that she surprised her husband by including Dammit Randy, a song he co-wrote, on her album, Postcards From Texas. Miranda, 40, said on the show that the track is Brendan's first songwriting credit.

"We cut it in the studio, he wasn't there all day, he came in the afternoon," she said. "I was like, 'I wanna play you something.' The whole band knew he'd written it, so we're just staring at him.

TEAMWORK Miranda and Brendan have actually collaborated on several songs, though Dammit Randy is the first sound she's released with Brendan as a co-writer.

The Wranglers singer told Bunnie Xo they collaborated on "probably four or five little tunes" in 2020, while in lockdown due to the Covid-19 pandemic. She went on to say that songwriter Jesse Frasure forced her husband to come into the studio with her after he made some offhanded jokes about writing music. Most read in Celebrity "He was talking s**t to Jesse Frasure about, 'Songwriting's not that hard, it's easy,' So [Jesse] made him come in and do a little write," Miranda said.

"We were there for like four-and-a-half hours. It's a lot And he's like, 'Oh, it is really hard.' We taught him a lesson," she continued.

But that same day is when Miranda and her husband learned he actually had a knack for songwriting, as he came up with a "great song" during their session. That's what inspired her to seriously sit down and write with him, and thus Dammit Randy was created. STICKING IT OUT Miranda's sweet storytime comes after she put an end to rumors that she and Brendan are divorcing.

Gossip began after Brendan was spotted hanging out with a group of girls at his wife's bar. Miranda Lambert rose to fame in 2003, after she appeared on Nashville Star. The singer released a number of hits that put her on the map in the mainstream country world.

The women claimed it was innocent, revealing that Miranda's hubby left the establishment before they did but rumors continued to swirl. On August 15, months after the incident, Miranda posted a smiling photo of herself and her husband during a trip to Italy .

The pic shut down rumors that the couple is separating. "Thank you for your beauty, history, art, wine, gelato, sweetest people and the memories," she wrote in the caption. The couple looked tanned and in good spirits, both dressed to the nines while spending time traveling Italy.

Prior to getting with Brendan, Miranda dated Turnpike Troubadours frontman Evan Felker and country/R&B singer Anderson East. In June, fans accused her man of being unfaithful after videos appeared to show him grinding against an unknown blonde woman in a nightclub.
