Monday, November 25, 2024 Mirai, a high-end dining destination blending timeless flavors with contemporary gastronomy, has officially launched in Bandra, Mumbai, showcasing the rich culinary traditions of Korean and Japanese cuisines. Founded by Saamir Chandnani and Rinchen Angchuk, the restaurant embodies the concept of Yin and Yang. According to a statement from the founders, the menu strikes a harmonious balance between the refined, delicate essence of Japanese dishes and the bold, fiery flavors of Korean fare.

Spanning 1,700 square meters, Mirai has been meticulously designed to offer an immersive experience. Its warm hues, ashwood accents, and subtle lighting create an atmosphere that transports diners from Mumbai’s bustling streets to the serene landscapes of a Japanese prefecture or a Korean dong. The sepia-toned ambiance focuses attention on the restaurant’s thoughtfully curated food and beverage offerings.

Mirai invites guests to personalize their dining journey, unveiling new layers of its culinary and cultural experience with every visit. For those seeking an authentic dining experience, Mirai offers traditional Japanese tatami seating, featuring low tables paired with floor cushions for an immersive ambiance reminiscent of Japan’s cultural heritage. The menu is a harmonious blend of classic dishes from both Japanese and Korean cuisines, complemented by innovative creations that fuse the flavors of these two culinary traditions.
