For years now, Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport (MSP) has struggled with traffic and capacity issues when it comes to passenger pick-up and drop-off areas. It undoubtedly has been a pain to take a loved one to the airport and drop them off for their flight and can often lead passengers to wait for a long time in traffic, something that could potentially lead them to miss their flights.

There is, however, a free and easy option that the airport launched this week, one which is set to improve the pick-up and drop-off experience at Terminal 2 significantly. The Metropolitan Airports Commission (MAC), which manages the facility, has opened a new Express Lane on the second level of the terminal's Purple Ramp, and the new lane will offer convenient connectivity to the sky bridge and the parking garage which are adjacent to the building.
