The trailer of Halitha Shameem ’s directorial ‘ Minmini ’ featuring Esther Anil , Praveen Kishore, and C.Gaurav Kaalai was launched recently. The film, which was hot in two phases, 2015 and 2022, deliberately allowed the child actors to mature and reprise their roles as adults, ‘Minmini’ follows two youngsters who carry survivors’ guilt.
Esther Anil, best known for her roles in the original ‘Drishyam’ franchise and its remakes, shared that the journey with ‘Minmini’ was exceptional. During the trailer launch of the film, she stated that she carried the character Praveena with her for eight long years. “I carried the character of Praveena with me for eight long years.
Even when I was doing other films, somewhere deep within, I was still holding on to the character. After the last day’s shoot was complete, I returned to my room, looked into the mirror, and understood that it was finally time to let go. It was an emotional moment,” she said.
The film is set against the breathtaking backdrop of the Indian Himalayas . On the technical front, Manoj Paramahamsa is the cinematographer for the film, while the editing is done by Raymond Derrick Crasta . Nesikaa Rajakimaran is the colorist.
