Thiruvananthapuram: Following the disruption in the assembly, Industries Minister P Rajeev has come out strongly against the opposition, blaming them for the unruly incidents. While speaking to reporters in the media room of the assembly, he said that the opposition was trying to wrap up the assembly proceedings to save face. “For the last few days, a grand alliance has been functioning in the state with a deliberate intention to create religious and regional divisions.
They have been building up lies to spread their agenda. It is in continuation of this agenda that an adjournment motion was moved in the assembly. They thought that such a move would be handled according to their plan.
They also thought they could present their lies, which could create divisions in society and thereby make some political gains,” he said. “But, much to their surprise, the government has decided to discuss the adjournment motion. They were afraid of being exposed during the discussion.
It is to avoid this discussion that the opposition disrupted the proceedings in an unruly fashion,” the minister said..
