Milton Larkin NORTHFIELD — Milton Larkin passed away peacefully on October 23 2024, at Mayo Healthcare in Northfield, Vermont surrounded by his loved ones. Born on October 25th 1954 to Edwin Sr. and Blanch (Smith) Larkin.

Milton was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and friend, who cherished every moment spent in nature. A true outdoorsman at heart, Milton’s passions included hunting, fishing, and exploring the great wilderness. He was a proud member of several clubs, where he formed lasting friendships and shared his love for the outdoors with others.



Whether casting a line on a quiet lake or tracking through the woods, Milton found joy in the simple beauty of nature. Milton was married to the love of his life, Sheryl (Lafirira), for 51 years. High school sweethearts, they built a beautiful life together, filled with laughter, love, and adventure.

Their bond was an inspiration to all who knew them. Milton spent the last six years devoting his time caring for Sheryl who has Alzheimer’s and now lives with her extended family at Mayo Healthcare. He will be deeply missed by Sheryl, and their children Michalle (Pete), Vicki (John), and Travis (Desiree).

Grandchildren Taylor (Shalyn), Morgan (Cris), Emily (Sam), Johnny (Amanda), Travis, Savanna, Luke, Adley, and great-granddaughter Skylar, a wide circle of friends and fellow outdoor enthusiasts. Though Milton has gone on to his final journey, his spirit will forever live on in the memories of those who loved him. A wak.
