Mike Tyson appeared to mentally scramble Tommy Fury and his brother and former heavyweight champion of the world Tyson Fury when speaking about the former’s recent break-up. Fury and Molly-Mae Hague , who met on the popular reality TV show Love Island , shocked the internet with an announcement of their separation last week. Having been together for five years, they share one child together (a daughter named Bambi) and announced their engagement with a viral video in July 2023.
However, on 14 August, Hague took to Instagram to say: “Never in a million years did I think I'd ever have to write this. After five years of being together I never imagined our story would end, especially not this way. I am extremely upset to announce that mine and Tommy's relationship has come to an end.
” Fury released his own statement saying: "I am heartbroken to share that Molly & I have decided to end our relationship. The past 5 years have led to us having our beautiful baby girl, Bambi & I will be forever thankful to Molly for making me a dad. Bambi is our priority.
"Please respect our privacy, and our families privacy, as we navigate our way through this difficult time." The news swiftly became popular gossip in the celebrity and boxing world. However, the news did not appear to pierce Mike Tyson ’s news bubble, and the 58-year-old seemed to confuse news of the breakup with the substance abuse of Fury’s older brother, Tyson.
