We have more newsletters Show Me No thanks, close See our Privacy Notice The family of a Cambridge-educated technology entrepreneur and his 18-year-old daughter, who was bound for Oxford, have shared a tribute after they died in the Bayesian yacht tragedy. Mike and Hannah Lynch died after they became trapped when a luxury yacht sank off the coast of Sicily during strong storms. Hannah was the last of six passengers to be recovered by divers in the yacht's wreckage on Friday.

(August 23). Their family said they are "devastated" and "in shock" and asked to be given their privacy at "this time of unspeakable grief". The discovery comes as unconfirmed reports in the Italian media have said that prosecutors are set to announce a manslaughter investigation into the incident.

In a statement, Mike and Hannah’s family said: “The Lynch family is devastated, in shock and is being comforted and supported by family and friends. “Their thoughts are with everyone affected by the tragedy.
