Top Culinary Experts and Mixologists to Gather at Anantara Siam Bangkok Showcasing New Trends in Gourmet Food and Cocktail Crafting In September, food enthusiasts can eagerly anticipate the annual World Gourmet Festival, now in its 24th year. The event will unfold at the Anantara Siam Bangkok Hotel from September 4-10, 2024.

A highlight of Bangkok’s culinary scene, this edition will feature an impressive ensemble of 16 world-renowned chefs, who collectively hold 30 Michelin stars, and noted bartenders from top-rated bars globally. The festival will commence with a lavish Gala Dinner offering a six-course menu, each course crafted by a different chef from the festival’s lineup. These chefs represent a wide range of culinary traditions from across Europe, the Mediterranean, Asia, and other regions, and each will helm a unique dining experience at one of Anantara Siam’s premier restaurants.



This year’s roster includes Michelin-starred chefs such as: Accompanying the gastronomic excellence, guest bartenders from some of Asia’s and the World’s 50 Best Bars will animate Aqua Bar nightly during the festival, including notable mixologists such as Colin Chia from Nutmeg & Clove, Singapore; Jon Lee from Penrose, Kuala Lumpur; and others from around the world. Part of the festival’s proceeds, including those from auction events, will support the Foundation for the Welfare of Rajavithi-Girls’ Home under the patronage of Her Royal Highness Princess Soamsawali. This charity provides essential educational, medical, and life skills training to underprivileged girls in Thailand.

Additionally, the festival will extend to other unique venues later in the month. On September 27-28, Anantara Siam’s sister property in Chiang Mai and the Loy Pela Voyages dinner cruise in Bangkok will feature exclusive dinners by chefs Enrico Marmo (Balzi Rossi, Italy) and Louis Anjos (Portugal), offering their distinctive takes on Italian and Portuguese cuisines respectively..
