Michael T. Banks Michael Timothy "Starchild” Banks, 65, of Augusta, West Virginia, passed away peacefully Saturday, October 26, 2024, at his home surrounded by his loving family. Mr.
Banks was born July 6, 1959, in Winchester, Virginia, the son of the late David Marshall Banks Jr. and Elizabeth Vartel Mason Banks. He worked as a Lyo Operator for ThermoFisher Scientific in Middletown, Virginia, for over 30 years.
Michael was known for his beautiful smile, positive outlook on life and his love for the Lord. He had a kind, gentle, loving heart. Always offered encouraging words and lent a helping hand where he could.
He loved spending time with his youngest son at the shooting range, riding his motorcycle, playing golf, putting puzzles together, watching football, snorkeling, scuba diving and spending time with his family. Surviving are two sons, Micah C. Banks of Augusta, WV, and Michael J.
Banks of Winchester, VA; two daughters, Michelle L. Banks and Chandra N. Banks, both of Winchester, VA; two brothers, David W.
Banks and Kelly J. Banks, both of Millwood, VA; and three grandchildren. The family will receive friends 12:00 – 2:00 P.
M. and a funeral service will follow at 2:00 P. M.
Sunday, November 3, 2024, at Enders & Shirley Funeral Home Chapel, Berryville with Rev. Raymond Morton officiating. Burial will follow in Love & Charity Cemetery, Millwood.
Pallbearers will be Brandon Spicer, Arty Banks, William Banks, Darren Banks, Todd Williams, and David Williams. Honorary pa.
