Formula 1 legend Michael Schumacher is now communicating solely with his eyes after a devastating skiing accident over a decade ago. The revered driver, who is 47 years old, suffered a catastrophic head injury while skiing in the French Alps, hitting his head on a rock 11 years ago. After spending a significant time in a medically-induced coma, Schumacher is now being cared for around the clock by his wife, Corinna, and a team of medical professionals.

The Schumacher family has been very private about his condition, with only a handful of people being fully informed about the health of the seven-time world champion. However, some have shared insights into his recovery process, including Elisabetta Gregoraci, the ex-wife of former F1 boss Flavio Briatore, who revealed that Schumacher 'communicates only through his eyes'. Only three people can visit him and I know who they are. They moved to Spain and his wife has set up a hospital in that house," revealed the Mirror. Despite the strict control over information and visitors by Corinna, it has been reported that Schumacher recently made a rare public appearance, attending his daughter's wedding.

Gina-Maria, aged 27, tied the knot with Ian Bethke last weekend at the Schumacher family's luxurious villa in Majorca, reports Wales Online . German media out.
