Bayern Munich ’s star summer signing Michael Olise’s first impression of the Bundesliga was perhaps not the best, as he debuted in the stadium of VfL Wolfsburg. But in his first home game in the Allianz Arena, the Frenchman was greeted by 75,000 raucous fans making noise and creating an incredible atmosphere. Asked in a recent interview about his first impressions of the Bundesliga since leaving from Crystal Palace in the Premier League, Olise knew there was only one place to start: “What really impressed me is the fans,” Olise stated, via @iMiaSanMia .

“They follow us everywhere, to the hotel, the games, the training. The passion that they bring gets transferred to us, it makes us stronger. The connection between fans and us players really inspires me.

” It certainly sounds as if Olise understands what the strength of the supporters is and knows how to leverage it into improved performances.
