Joe Burrow and the Cincinnati Bengals remain in the playoff hunt after a dramatic win over the Denver Broncos in Week 17. The NFL regular season is coming towards its end and the race for playoff spots is really ramping up. Week 17 kicked off with a blowout as the Los Angeles Chargers racked up a 40-7 victory over the New England Patriots.

The attention then turned to the Cincinnati Bengals hosting the Denver Broncos with both teams chasing a playoff place. This turned out to be an incredibly dramatic affair with Broncos QB Bo Nix throwing a game-tying touchdown to Marvin Mims with just 14 seconds on the clock. That sent the game to overtime and after Cade York’s missed field goal, Cincinnati finally won it as Tee Higgins caught his third touchdown of the game.

A win for Denver would have booked their place in the postseason but they now have Cincinnati, Indianapolis and Miami all looking to sneak in. It’s just a matter of weeks since Chad ‘Ochocinco’ Johnson suggested the Bengals drafting Travis Hunter out of Colorado.

That idea can now be put to bed as the Bengals rack up a fourth straight win having been 4-8 after Week 13. The Bengals defense remains a problem but quarterback Joe Burrow has been simply sensational all season long. Burrow has thrown 39 touchdowns – a league-high number – and just eight interceptions, truly putting this Bengals .
