MIAMI Dolphins fans are starting to turn on their quarterback after he is set to miss yet another game. Tua Tagovailoa is tracking to miss his sixth game of the season for the Miami Dolphins. Tua earned himself a massive contract extension in the offseason after having a spectacular 2023 season, but fans think the Dolphins may have jumped the gun with paying their quarterback.

He played all 17 games in 2023, but missed four games the previous season with injuries and is now set to increase that to six games in the 2024 season. The 26-year-old is suffering from a hip injury sustained in Week 15 against the Houston Texans . Tua is hurt at the worst time as well, right in the middle of a playoff push for his team.

They managed to keep their playoff hopes alive last week with backup Tyler Huntley defeating the Cleveland Browns , but they will need some more magic this week against the New York Jets.

The matchup against the 4-12 Jets would be a lot less intimidating for the Dolphins if Tua was in the game, but he is once again unavailable. Dolphins head coach Mike McDaniel wouldn't even commit to Tua being able to start if the Dolphins made it to the playoffs.
