Tuesday, August 27, 2024 On a splendid day at the Bellagio, managed by MGM Resorts International and a part of Marriott Bonvoy’s Luxury Collection, a significant event unfolded. The Fountains of Bellagio introduced their 40th spectacle, synchronized to U2’s “Beautiful Day” and orchestrated by Scott Krupa, an Elite member of Marriott Bonvoy from Atlanta, Georgia. This marked a remarkable Marriott Bonvoy Moment for Krupa, who utilized his accumulated points for the chance to etch his name into the Fountains’ storied legacy.

In a groundbreaking initiative, this was the first instance where a visitor was invited to design a performance for the iconic Las Vegas feature, facilitated by the Marriott Bonvoy Moments® inspired by the MGM Collection. This initiative celebrated the strategic partnership between Marriott International and MGM Resorts International, coinciding with the launch of MGM Collection under the Marriott Bonvoy umbrella. The platform of Marriott Bonvoy Moments allows members to exchange points accumulated from hotel stays and daily expenditures for extraordinary experiences in entertainment, culinary arts, sports, and lifestyle.

Krupa’s involvement in choreographing the Fountains’ show underscores the unique offerings of the MGM Collection with Marriott Bonvoy. “When I discovered this incredible Marriott Bonvoy Moments opportunity to choreograph the Fountains of Bellagio show, I couldn’t resist, and I eagerly redeemed my points for an experience beyond anything I had ever imagined,” said Krupa . “Being able to express my creativity through the Fountains is something I will cherish forever.

I carefully considered not only the visual impact of the show, but the emotions it would evoke in the huge crowds that constantly gather to watch.” A dedicated Marriott Bonvoy member with a passion for music, arts, and lighting, Krupa redeemed over 2.4 million points for this unique package.

His journey began with mastering the complex technology that drives the spectacular water displays. With this knowledge, he collaborated with the WET creative team, selecting the music and directing the water show’s choreography to bring his artistic vision to life. The debut of his creation was celebrated at Bellagio’s The Mayfair Supper Club, witnessed by friends and family.

Krupa’s show has now become one of the 40 mesmerizing performances that entertain global audiences at the Fountains. “Choreographing a show for the Fountains of Bellagio illustrates the extraordinary experiences we strive to create for our members through MGM Collection with Marriott Bonvoy, leaving them with memories that will last a lifetime,” said Peggy Roe, EVP and Chief Customer Officer, Marriott International . “Our relationship with MGM Resorts underscores Marriott’s dedication to providing unparalleled access and value to our Marriott Bonvoy community.

With this spectacular opportunity, one of our loyal members was able to pursue their passion while adding a new chapter to the legacy of this iconic Las Vegas attraction. This is a taste of the truly unique and larger-than-life experiences we will continue to offer with Marriott Bonvoy Moments inspired by MGM Collection.” Ann Hoff, President and COO of Bellagio , said, “Our mission at Bellagio is to provide unforgettable opportunities for our guests, and this remarkable show created by a loyal Marriott Bonvoy member is a perfect example of that commitment.
