MG Motor India has unveiled plans to launch its premium retail channel, MG Select, by Q1 2025. The channel will focus on new energy vehicles (NEVs) like hybrids and EVs, with four locally assembled models expected in the next two years. New Delhi: MG Motor India has announced its upcoming premium retail channel, ‘MG Select,’ which is set to be launched by the first quarter of 2025.

This new venture will focus on the brand’s luxury offerings and new energy vehicles (NEVs), including hybrids, plug-in hybrids (PHEVs), and electric vehicles (EVs). The introduction of MG Select marks a significant shift in the brand’s strategy as it ventures into more premium segments of the Indian automotive market. MG Select: New Retail Experience The MG Select retail channel will be dedicated to a more exclusive customer experience, focusing solely on MG’s NEV range.



The company plans to introduce four new models under this channel over the next two years, all of which will be locally assembled in India. MG has stated that there will be no overlap between MG Select and its existing mainstream channel, ensuring that the two operate distinctly. The current MG channel will continue serving the broader market, while MG Select will cater to entry-luxury customers.
