The Museum Director specified that the museum, which belongs to the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM), opened its doors on November 1, 2023, and since then has hosted the color exhibition, “The Knowledge of the Invisible,” an international exhibition that has visited six important cities in Latin America and closes its trip in Mérida. “It is an exhibition that accompanies us during this first period, and then we will have another series of exhibitions, in this one we wanted to address the issues of the color phenomenon from a scientific perspective, but from sociocultural perspectives, the production of pigments and even technological development and even art,” Ricardo Rubiales noted. This site is located on the corner of 50th and 43rd Streets in the Great Park of “La Plancha”, it is open to the public from 9 in the morning to 1 in the afternoon and from 4 in the afternoon to 8 at night, from Tuesday to Sunday.
