A museum in Ireland has withdrawn a waxwork of Sinead O’Connor after it drew comparisons to a string puppet from the television show Thunderbirds . When it was unveiled on Thursday to coincide with the first anniversary of the singer’s death , the wax figure immediately drew a public backlash from her fans across the world. John O’Connor, her brother, described the artwork as something between a “mannequin and something out of the Thunderbirds ”.
