The successful bid, led by the Melbourne Convention Bureau (MCB) , was a collaborative effort involving the Victorian State Government Department of Families, Fairness and Housing , the Federal Government , Tourism Australia’s Business Events Bid Fund Program , and regional partners. Set to take place from 27 to 30 April 2026 at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre , this monumental gathering will welcome over 6,500 delegates from 170 countries , uniting global voices to champion the rights, health, and empowerment of women, girls, and gender-diverse communities.
