Wednesday, January 22, 2025 For the first time in history, the Oceania Pacific region will host the Women Deliver 2026 conference, with Melbourne emerging as the victorious city to stage this globally impactful event. The successful bid, led by the Melbourne Convention Bureau (MCB) , was a collaborative effort involving the Victorian State Government Department of Families, Fairness and Housing , the Federal Government , Tourism Australia’s Business Events Bid Fund Program , and regional partners. Set to take place from 27 to 30 April 2026 at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre , this monumental gathering will welcome over 6,500 delegates from 170 countries , uniting global voices to champion the rights, health, and empowerment of women, girls, and gender-diverse communities.

Women Deliver 2026 is one of the largest and most influential conferences focused on advancing gender equality and reproductive rights. The event will provide an unparalleled platform for leaders, advocates, and organisations to engage in transformative dialogue, knowledge exchange, and impactful action to address critical challenges affecting women and marginalised groups worldwide.
