Meghan Markle gave quite a luxurious gift to long-time pal Oprah Winfrey and it's now made her annual "Favourite Things" list. The Duchess of Sussex has been known to be close with the TV guru for a few years now and it was her who Meghan and Prince Harry gave their infamous 2021 interview to after they quit their royal duties. Meghan and Oprah, who are also neighbours in Montecito, California, have been snapped together on multiple occasions and more recently, they joined forces to promote the opening of a friend's bookstore in Santa Barbara back in September.
Now Oprah has released her annual gift guide, a tradition she's kept up since the days of her former Oprah Winfrey Show and this year it includes a luxury bodycare set gifted by "her neighbour Meghan" and made by another beauty guru who also lives in Montecito and is a friend of the duchess's. The gift in question is by Tatcha's Hinoki line and consists of a body milk, a body wash and a body oil, which are all scented with the brand's Forest Awakening Essential Oil Blend. Oprah wrote of her gift: "This is a favourite Favourite Thing — with the scent of a forest sent to me by my neighbour Meghan.
"If you were to come to my house, you’d see this body wash, body oil and body milk right by the tub." Tatcha, a Japanese skincare brand that has been going viral among influencers and beauty gurus, was co-founded by Vicky Tsai - a Taiwanese-American former business executive. On its website, the brand claims the Hinoki rang.
