Meghan Markle spoke about entering a "chapter of joy" during an appearance at Oprah Winfrey 's book club event on Thursday, just before the second anniversary of Queen Elizabeth II's death. The event, held at Godmothers bookstore in Summerland, California , celebrated the store's opening. Jennifer Rudolph Walsh, co-owner of the bookstore and literary agent, highlighted a "local authors" shelf, which included Prince Harry 's memoir Spare. Walsh stated: "We celebrate our hometown authors as if they were our hometown heroes, because to us they are.

" Markle's appearance coincided with preparations for the anniversary of Queen Elizabeth II's death. The Royal Family commemorated the occasion with a photograph of the late monarch shared on their official Instagram account. DON'T MISS.
