The accuser, who used the pseudonym “Jane Roe” in the lawsuit, alleges that Brooks raped her while she was employed as his hairstylist and make-up artist back in 2019. The lawsuit further alleges that Brooks sexually harassed her on multiple occasions throughout her employment, which dates back to 2017, and even proposed a threesome with his wife, fellow country singer Trisha Yearwood.
Brooks has denied all the allegations so far, telling the BBC that the woman’s lawsuit was “extortion and defamation”. The singer has been married to Yearwood since 2005, who is now a devoted stepmum to his three daughters Taylor, August and Allie, from his previous marriage to Sandy Mahl from 1986 to 2000. The Tulsa native has acknowledged the challenges of parenting.
