If you are wondering who we are talking about, she is Ayesha Kapur. Kapur was raised and continues to live in Auroville, Puducherry. Her mother, Jacqueline, is German, while her father, Dilip Kapur—a Punjabi businessman—is the owner of the Hidesign leather goods brand.

She has one brother, Milan, and two half-brothers, Akash and Vikas, from her father’s previous marriage. Ayesha, an Indian-German actress, is best known for her role in the film Black, where she shared the screen with Amitabh Bachchan. For her remarkable performance, Ayesha bagged several awards, including in the “Best Supporting Actress” category.

She starred in her first major Bollywood role in the 2005 movie Black, as the young Michelle McNally opposite Rani Mukerji and Amitabh Bachchan. Following the film’s release, she received widespread praise for her role. After Black, Ayesha went on to do another film, Sikandar, released in 2009, where she played the role.
