In addition to his advisory role, Mayor Mamay is the CEO of Mamay Production, which recently produced the biographical film "Mamay: A Journey to Greatness.



" Featuring Jeric Raval as Mayor Mamay, Ara Mina as his supportive wife, and Teejay Marquez as the young mayor, the film is directed by Neal “Buboy” Tan and serves as both a biography and an inspirational piece. Mayor Mamay expressed his gratitude to the director for respecting cultural nuances in the film. “In our Muslim culture, certain traditions and restrictions must be honored.

I’m thankful to Direk Neal for understanding and adapting to these aspects. It’s crucial that this film reflects my roots and beliefs,” he noted. "Mamay: A Journey to Greatness" explores the transformative experiences of Mayor Mamay, highlighting his dedication to community service.

Gerald Santos performs the theme song "Hamon," composed by Vehnee Saturno, adding an emotional depth to the narrative. Regarding the 2024 Metro Manila Film Festival, Mayor Mamay shared, “I’m considering submitting the biopic. The MMFF event is highly anticipated and could help share my story with a wider audience.

Regardless of the outcome, I hope the film will inspire viewers to chase their dreams and contribute to their communities.” Mayor Mamay's commitment to the film industry was highlighted when he presented the "Takilya King and Queen Awards" to Marian Rivera and Dingdong Dantes at the recent 40th PMPC Star Awards for Movies for their work in the film "Rewind." “It was an immense honor to present these awards.

The Gabi ng Parangal, held on Dec. 27, 2023, at the New Frontier Theater in Quezon City, featured a notable contribution from Mayor Mamay. At the 2023 MMFF, he sponsored and presented the Best Picture award.
