Maya Hawke was seen having dinner with her boyfriend and other friends at her side. The 26-year-old actress was spotted out to dinner with her friend-turned-boyfriend Christian Lee Hutson on Wednesday (August 14) in Santa Monica, Calif. While Maya is most known for her work on Stranger Things , she’s also a very talented musician.
Through working on her new album, her and Christian went from close friends to a relationship. The two had been friends for four years and during an appearance on the Zach Sang Show , Maya had some words of wisdom about dating a friend, “I cannot recommend highly enough dating your friends. It’s the best.
They know you, they understand that you’re a person and a human being that has dated other people who has dated them. Who has feelings and is a living, breathing human not just like a piece of paper to project image of perfect girlfriend onto.” Maya is a talented actress and performer in her own rite, but she also acknowledges that she has “nepo baby” status.
