It’s an exciting time for fans of Remedy. Although not the biggest financial hit, we finally got Alan Wake 2 last year and it was an amazing horror experience. While AW2 has come and gone, there’s plenty else to anticipate for the future including remakes of the beloved Max Payne series and a sequel to Control.

The Max Payne remake is officially in “full production,” meanwhile, Control 2 has entered “production readiness” . It was announced in 2022 that the Max Payne remake from Remedy was happening in partnership with Rockstar . It is only the first and second original games that are being remade, meaning there will not be a remake of the third installment that was developed by Rockstar.



As for more Jesse Faden, it was also announced in 2022 that Control 2 is planned for PS5, Xbox, and PC . Both games are still not coming out soon, but Remedy has provided updates on their development.
