The pair, who are both 25 and rose to fame on the 2019 series of Love Island , surprised their followers with the news of their separation earlier this month. A recent post by Molly-Mae, featuring a lakeside picture on Instagram, marked her emotional return to social media after the breakup .

She captioned the image: "Thank you for being the best online friends I could've ever wished for." Amidst numerous messages of support, Maura, another Love Island contestant from the same season, responded with warmth, commenting: "LOVE and ADORE YOU," and adding a white heart emoji, reports OK! Maura, 33, has also been in the spotlight with revelations about her own personal life after her split from American boyfriend Bobby Holland Hanton, known for being Chris Hemsworth's stunt double. Following their intense romance and subsequent split earlier this year, Maura revealed insights into her single status.



During a Mirror interview, Maura humorously dismissed the idea of dating Hollywood stars, despite her claims of receiving direct messages from them. She said: "I've had Hollywood men slide into my DMs," but insisted she wouldn't be jetting off for a date. "But I'm not going to do that, be flown to Hollywood for a first date.

Meanwhile, Molly-Mae and Tommy shared their heartfelt decision to part ways on social media soon after they celebrated their fifth anniversary together.

They are parents to their cherished one-year-old daughter Bambi and posted touching statements as they publicised the end of their relationship. Molly revealed in a heartfelt Instagram post: "Never in a million years did I ever think I'd have to write this. After five years of being together I never imagined our story would end, especially not this way.

"I am extremely upset to announce that mine and Tommy's relationship has come to an end. I will forever be grateful for the most important thing to me now and always, my beautiful daughter. Without us there would be no her, she will always be my priority.

" Conveying thanks to their fans, she added: "I just want to thank you all for the love you have shown us over the last five years. You have all been a part of our journey and I feel it's right to share this with you all. Whilst I attempt to navigate the coming days and weeks, please kindly respect my privacy over this difficult time.

I'll be back when it feels right." Echoing Molly-Mae's sentiments, Tommy shared his own sorrow on social media, putting their daughter first: "I am heartbroken to share that Molly and I have decided to end our relationship. The past five years have led to us having our beautiful baby girl, Bambi and I will be forever thankful to Molly for making me a dad.
