Matthew Perry's loved ones gathered at the late actor's final resting place to commemorate what would have been his 55th birthday. In a tragic turn of events, Perry passed away in October, falling victim to a ketamine overdose. His tragic demise led to the detainment of five individuals on August 15 doctors Salvador Plasencia and Mark Chavez, his live-in aide Kenneth Iwamasa, along with "various intermediaries," notably Erik Flemming, and Jasveen Sangha, infamously dubbed, The Ketamine Queen.

They knew what they were doing was wrong. They knew what they were doing was risking great danger to Mr. Perry but they did it anyway.

" Estrada also shared that the doctors involved supplied ketamine and exchanged text messages mocking Perry's vulnerability, questioning "how much this moron [Perry] would pay." The United States Attorney's Office: Central District of California issued a press release stating that Salvador is accused of distributing ketamine to Matthew and Kenneth outside his professional practice on "at least seven occasions." In October 2023, Salvador is alleged to have shown Kenneth how to administer the drug to the actor, and on one occasion, he reportedly injected ketamine into Matthew without proper safety measures in a car in a Long Beach parking lot.
