The Pacific Palisades mansion where actor Matthew Perry was found dead last year has sold for $8.55 million. Movie producer and real estate developer Anita Verma-Lallian purchased the four-bedroom, 3,500-square-foot mid-century modern home through a trust , according to her representative.
The property, which Perry bought for $6 million in 2020, will serve as a vacation home for Verma-Lallian. Perry, best known for his role in Friends, was found dead in the home's hot tub on October 28, 2023. The Los Angeles County Medical Examiner's Office determined the 54-year-old actor died from "acute effects of ketamine," with drowning, coronary artery disease and buprenorphine listed as contributing factors.
His death was ruled accidental. Five individuals, including two doctors and Perry's longtime assistant Kenneth Iwamasa, face charges related to his death. Perry's stepfather, Keith Morrison, recently spoke about the family's loss.
