Last week California authorities investigating Matthew Perry’s death, made shocking arrests alleging some of the individuals were taking advantage of the ‘Friends’ alum for financial gain. On August 15, United States Attorney Martin Estrada named multiple people who were charged in connection with Perry’s Ketamine overdose death, including two doctors, Perry’s personal live-in assistant, and a woman dubbed the ‘Ketamine Queen’ who allegedly owned a ‘stash house’ and supplied illicit drugs. Perry’s personal assistant reportedly confirmed the actor’s final words to him were “shoot me up with a big one” referring to the use of Ketamine, just hours before his death.

The assistant later discovered Perry’s lifeless body in a hot tub on October 28, 2024. He passed at age 54 from a fatal drug overdose and acute effects of ketamine. “Matthew did have true friends that loved and cared about him. They would have all tried to help him if he’d reached out. It makes them sad that he was surrounded by enablers," a source told the magazine.

On Thursday, California authorities held a press conference to name the five individuals involved in supplying ketamine to Perry. Dr. Salvador Plascencia - a licensed physician, Kenneth Iwamasa - Perry’s personal assistant, Jasveen Sangha, who authorities dubbed ‘The Ketamine Queen’, with Erik Fleming and Dr.

Mark Chavez, were all separately indicted. “Each of the defendants played a key role in his death," said California officials. It is reported these individuals were aware their actions were negatively impacting Perry’s health but they continued to provide him with the drugs.
