MATT Rife has shared plenty of jokes with fans about his chiseled looks while claiming his altered face is a direct result of late puberty. A luxury injector has had the last laugh and said the comic's "luminous lips" and "stretched cheeks" are from minor nip tucks and potentially one round of plastic surgery. Matt, 28, has been promoting his new Netflix special , Lucid, by sharing clips on Instagram.

He has also appeared at plenty of showbiz events in the run-up, including the Borderlands premiere on Thursday. “He looks like the male version of Angelina Jolie lol, same face,” commented one follower on an Instagram photo of Matt. “How are you aging backwards?” asked another about the red carpet photo.

Luxury injector Tara Adashev of Neinstein Plastic Surgery suggested Matt's transformation was from spending thousands "shifting his face." “Matt looks like he has had some pretty drastic changes made to his face," she told The U.S.

Sun. "He has a lot of volume in his jawline and could have had cheek implants added and/or buccal fat removal. "It all looks like he has done something surgically, so not necessarily fillers.

"Matt has had something done to shift his face. "He likely spent around $10,000 on these facial elements as a one-off." In 2023, a clip of the star went viral on TikTok when he said that up until the age of 22, he was "ugly.

" "My looks are so confusing," Matt joked. "This sh** just happened. Puberty hit me so disrespectfully late.

I was ugly as sh** for the first 22 years of my life," he added while circling his face with his index finger. Matt's facial changes are pretty drastic, not just from late puberty. Matt addressed plastic surgery rumors on Access Hollywood again in 2023.

This time, he mentioned turning 23 amid speculation about his snatched jawline, plump lips, and chiseled cheeks. “That is the funniest thing in the world to me," he told Mario Lopez after being asked about the biggest lie he had ever heard. The comic quickly cited plastic surgery rumors during the interview at Hollywood's Wild Card Boxing gym.

“Puberty hit me so late. I did not look like this until I was 23,” he added. According to Adashev, Matt's facial changes resulted from "pulled tissue" from cosmetic tweaks.

"Everyone could go through puberty differently," she said. "But Matt's facial changes are pretty drastic, not just from late puberty. "Everyone is different, but with men specifically, it is possible to go through late puberty.

Matt’s skin also has not changed, but his face and cheeks looks stretched. "But I also note a change in his lip shape and size. "Matt's lips are much more hydrated and luminous.

"It could be that he went through puberty and, after that, took some buccal fat out, and his face ended up stretching out his lips. "Matt’s skin also has not changed, but his face and cheeks look stretched. "The procedure may have pulled the tissue in different directions in his lips.

"Matt's mouth looks larger without actually putting filler in." Matt started his career as a comedian when he was 15, becoming famous in 2015 when he appeared on MTV's Wild 'n Out. He began working independently in 2021 and released his first YouTube comedy special, Only Fans.

Since joining TikTok in 2022, he's racked up 18 million followers. Matt started appearing on Netflix and sitcoms in 2023 and launched a world tour through October. By the end of his sold-out ProbleMATTic tour he will have completed over 100 stand-up dates globally.

Lucid launches tonight and includes crowd work, where fans are in on Matts' gags. According to Adashev, who has never treated Matt, he has not altered his nose during his aesthetic transformation. "Matt has not touched his nose or anything else," she said.

"I do not think he did any cheek and jawline procedures in one session. "This has all been done in the last two years. "The procedures have been done sometime between 2021 and 2024.

" The star has admitted to having his teeth fixed by a dentist, Dr. Kourosh Maddahi. “Thanks to him I can smile anywhere; his office, a funeral, planned parenthood,” he said.

To some, Matt's chiseled features and bee-stung lips look more like those of a boyband star than a stand-up comic. “Me, personally? I don’t feel like I’m a good-looking person, and nobody ever believes that," he told Vogue in 2023. "I have so many insecurities about my physicality, it is insane,” he added responding to fans focusing on his looks.

Interestingly, Adashev drew a comparison with Pete Davidson. "Pete Davidson is around the same age and in the same industry as Matt Rife," she said "But he has not done anything to his face. “Pete naturally has more volume and has structure anyway.

"He has a different face structure and would not need cosmetic tweaks." Practice good and consistent skincare. Always use an SPF.

Do not overdo procedures. Go to an injector or a physician who will help you with your skin and base. You do not want to look unnatural.

On the personal front, Ohio native Matt has been linked to Kate Beckinsale and Broo ke Schofield. His most recent relationship was with actress Jessica Lord, though the couple split in March. "Overall, Matt looks good,” Adashev went on.

“It is an altered look. “Sometimes men need a little bit more definition in the jawline, and it gives them masculinity. "These days, men want cheek filler to look more defined.

"Men see other people online, and they want to look chiseled, mainly like the actor Channing Tatum. "Channing Tatum's naturally got those looks. His type of chiseled features that are in demand.
