Marvel Studios has showed off some more footage of upcoming MCU series Ironheart behind closed doors at this year's D23. While it still hasn't been released online, the footage shown at the big Disney convention is a little meatier than what was showen in May to ad-buyers at the company's Upfronts presentation. The footage began with a clip from Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, where Dominique Thorne made her debut as Riri Williams/Ironheart.

Dominique Thorne and the cast of Ironheart hits the stage at #D23 pic.twitter.com/BOQThD9lbt — IGN (@IGN) August 10, 2024 After that, we see Riri after her internship abroad, feeling "stuck.

" After she's booted from MIT, Parker Robbins/The Hood (played by Anthony Ramos) tells her, "anyone who has accomplished anything has to do things questionable. Are you in or out?" There's then some footage of Ironheart flying, money falling from the sky, and a glimpse at some of the risks Riri will take to see her dream through. She crashes the front of a truck and it flies over her.

We also get a quick look at another white version of her suit flying at the end of the trailer. Ironheart is one of two shows set in Phase 5 of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, which will premiere in 2025. The second previously confirmed TV series, Daredevil: Born Again, will hit the streaming platform next year, with Charlie Cox reprising his role as Matt Murdock / Daredevil.

These appear to be the only two Marvel shows arriving next year, according to Disney CEO Bob Iger, who revealed in an earnings call in May that Marvel will impose a limit of two to three movies and two TV shows per year.
